Using Cat & Meow

These terms cover catandmeow.com and its account features. Please read them alongside our privacy policy. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.

Guides and tools

Our guides, stories, and calculators provide general information. They do not diagnose a cat, prescribe treatment, or replace advice from a veterinarian. Tool results depend on the information you enter and may not suit your cat’s circumstances. For health concerns, contact a veterinarian. Read our medical disclaimer.

Your account

You can sign in with Google or an email link. Keep access to your email and Google account secure, and do not share sign-in links. Use an account you are authorized to access. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized activity.

Your cat profiles and memories

You retain ownership of the text you add. You give Cat & Meow permission to store, process, and display it to you as needed to provide and maintain your private space. This permission does not authorize us to publish your memories as public stories or advertisements.

Only add content you have the right to use. Avoid including sensitive information about yourself or other people. You can edit or delete your entries, export your saved data, and delete your account in account settings.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful activity, impersonation, spam, or content that violates another person’s rights. Do not attempt to access other accounts, bypass authentication or rate limits, or interfere with the service. We may restrict access when necessary to address misuse or security issues.

Site content and external links

Articles, illustrations, and other site materials remain owned by Cat & Meow or their respective owners. You may link to our pages; contact us before republishing substantial parts of our content.

Some links are affiliate links. Purchases through them may earn us a commission. External merchants operate their own websites and handle their own transactions, delivery, and returns. See our affiliate disclosure.

Availability and changes

Features may change or be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, or permanent storage. Keep an exported copy of memories that matter to you.

You can stop using the service at any time. Account deletion removes your account and associated profiles and memories from the active database; retention details are described in our privacy policy. These terms do not exclude rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
